I have been breeding and showing solid color persians in CFA since 1997.
I started Jadon blues. GC Jadon Positano, a three-show grand here in the
Mid-West.
In the year 2000 my focus shifted to solid white, whites with blue
odd and copper eyes that mask black and blue. These lines originate
from Anona and Betbar (PAJEAN, CATILLAK, ANZ.)
Many years ago I met and fell in love with the brown
tabbies. Brown classic tabbies. The wonderful dark brown patterns
sweet, interactive personalities, expressive faces from TUFFTONS
AND JOLEIGH.
A special note of thanks to Betty Barber for her wonderful whites,
blacks and blues and my thanks to Brian Sante of Sanbachs Cattery
in Miami. It is rare to find loyal friends as these. I also wish to remember
wonderful friends in the past, Lois Anne Welsh of Shan-Anne Cattery,
Mae Bivens of Denans - both gone now but they contributed tremendously
to my knowledge of showing, grooming, and genetics. Both were solid
and parti-color breeders.
My Cattery is a PKD negative cattery, and a full DNA profile is done on
each new cat through Gribbles in Australia.
